how to remove gel nail wraps at home

Flood the edges with cuticle oil (or non-acetone remover).

Slide a wooden stick under the edge and slowly lift a millimetre, then add more oil so it seeps underneath.

Keep oiling and easing — don’t pull. If you feel resistance, pause, re-oil, and try again.

After removal, wash your hands and finish with cuticle oil or a nourishing balm.

Here are the sizes for our Semi-cured nail strips. You can also stretch or trim them to suit your nails.
Smallest - 8mm in width
Largest - 17mm in width
Length- 34mm

French Tip Fit Note:
Every nail bed is unique, and the placement of the white tip can vary depending on your natural nail length and shape.
To help you choose the best fit, here’s the height of the pink/natural area (from cuticle to tip transition) on each strip size:

We recommend checking your natural nail length to ensure the tip placement will sit where you prefer.
If you have shorter nail beds, the tip may appear lower. If you have longer nail beds, you may see little to no white tip.
HOW TO USE La-Bek gel nail wraps
Semi-Cured Gel Nails:
- Clean nails with nail polish remover or Isocol.
- Wash hands with soap and water and dry thoroughly
- Remove the clear cover from the nail stickers
- Peel the nail strip from the backing paper, pulling gently to avoid damaging the stickers
- Place the strip on your nail, gently stretching it for a perfect fit. If needed, peel and readjust for realignment
- Smooth out any wrinkles and remove excess by folding the strip at the nail edge and filing in a downward motion. You can also trim the excess to just over the nail edge and then file
- Place your hand under the UV lamp
- Push the top of the lamp down to activate, this will run for 60secs
- Once the lamp turns off your nails will be cured
Tip: Avoid skin and cuticle contact when applying to prevent lifting and irritation.
UV-Free Gel Nails:
To apply LA-BEK UV-free gel nail wraps, simply follow these steps or view our how to apply video here.
- Clean nails with an alcohol wipe, nail polish remover or Isocol. Wash hands with soap and water and dry thoroughly.
- Select the nail strip that best fits your nail size and shape.
- Peel off the clear cover and remove the nail strip from the backing paper.
- Place the nail strip on your nail, gently stretching it for a perfect fit.
- Smooth out any wrinkles and trim excess with nail scissors.
- Clean up the edge of your nail with the provided nail file, making sure to file in one downward direction.
Tip: For the best adhesion, avoid water, steam, or excessive moisture for at least 2-3 hours after application.
La-Bek Top Coats (Gloss + Matte):
- Apply your La-Bek nail strips as usual and cure fully under your UV/LED lamp (see above).
- Apply a very thin layer of La-Bek Gloss or Matte Top Coat over each nail.
⚠️ A little goes a long way — applying too thick may cause a burning sensation when curing. - Cure under a UV/LED lamp for 60–90 seconds (depending on your lamp’s strength) until fully set.
- Enjoy a longer-lasting, salon-quality finish!
Nail Stickers:
1. Apply Your Gel Nails: Apply and cure your semi-cured gel nails as usual.
2. Choose & Place Your Sticker: Using tweezers, gently peel off your chosen sticker—taking care not to tear it. Place it on your nail in the desired position. For best results, press it down gently with the rubber tip of your LA-BEK tweezers to smooth and secure it.
3. Seal with Top Coat: Apply a thin, even layer of LA-BEK Gloss or Matte Top Coat over the entire nail to lock the sticker in place.
4. Cure & Enjoy: Cure under your UV lamp for 60–120 seconds, then admire your elevated mani!
They will remove easily along with your semi-cured gel nails when you’re ready for a new set.
