What makes them "semi-cured"
Each wrap is made from real gel polish that's been partially cured under UV light during manufacturing. That's what gives them their flexible, slightly tacky feel when you apply them, they mould to your nail shape rather than sitting on top like a rigid plastic sticker. Once you cure them again at home under your own UV or LED lamp, that same gel hardens fully into a glossy, durable finish.
Why that matters day to day
Because the gel is already most of the way cured, there's no drying time once you've finished curing, no waiting around with your hands out to avoid smudging, which is the part of a normal manicure most people find genuinely annoying.
