The finishing step for a semi-cured manicure

A top coat does two jobs: it sets the finish you want, and it adds a layer of protection that buys you extra days of wear. Choose Gloss for high shine, or Matte Velvet for a soft, flat, velvety finish.

Important: top coats need a lamp

All LA-BEK top coats cure under a UV or LED lamp. That makes them a natural fit for semi-cured gel nail wraps, which already use a lamp as part of the routine.

They are not suitable for our UV-Free range. Those wraps arrive fully cured and are designed so you never need a lamp. To get the longest wear from a UV-Free set, seal the edges firmly with Precision Tweezers instead.

When to use one

Over any semi-cured set you want to last longer, over nail stickers or gel liner work to lock the art in place, or simply to change the finish of a colour you already own. A matte top coat over a glossy shade reads as a completely different manicure.
