Pick out a handful of your favourites before you start placing them, it's easier than choosing on the fly. Decide how many nails you want a cat on. We left one or two nails plain and glossy, and gave the rest a different cat each, mixing up the poses so no two nails match exactly.   Step 4: Place your decals Using your Precision Tweezers, gently lift a cat decal from the sheet and position it wherever feels right on the nail, centred, off to one side, whatever suits that particular design. Press it flat with an orange stick or the flat edge of your tweezers, working from the centre outward to smooth out any air. Trim the excess at the edges with small nail scissors. Repeat across both hands, mixing up the cat designs as you go.   Step 5: Seal with Gloss Top Coat Apply a thin layer of Gloss Top Coat over every nail, making sure you go all the way over the decals. Press the brush flat against the nail and sweep from cuticle to tip in one smooth pass.   Step 6: Final cure and enjoy Cure under your UV LED lamp as directed on the top coat.   Short answer: yes, and honestly, toes might be the easier win. We get this one a lot, people assume our wraps are a fingers-only thing and either skip the idea of a home pedicure altogether or reach for regular polish instead. Neither's necessary. They're not just finger wraps cut down to size. Every pack of our regular finger wraps comes with multiple sizes, and toenails are almost always smaller than fingernails, so the smallest strips left over after doing your hands are often a perfect fit for toes. It's a handy way to match fingers and toes exactly using what you've already got, no separate pack required. The bit that surprises people: toes often last longer Toenails tend to give even longer wear than fingernails, simply because they take less daily punishment. A real customer email, lightly edited for length. Name changed and no photos included, at her request.   Every so often an email lands in our inbox that stops us in our tracks. This one did. It's from a customer we're calling Ellie, and it's about hands, habits, and giving yourself permission to feel proud of something so small. Ellie picked her nails her whole life. "Down to the wick" is how she put it. She'd tried everything to stop and nothing had stuck. Then two mates who already wore la-bek put wraps on her thumbnails during a weekend away in May, half as a joke, half as an intervention. They lasted less than 24 hours. But something about seeing polish on her nails, even briefly, was enough. She let her real nails grow for two weeks before trying wraps on her own for the first time. Once spring wraps up, some shades may earn a permanent spot in our everyday range, others will retire or return next spring. If a shade is calling your name, it's worth grabbing now. ⸻ Can I mix shades across different moods? Absolutely, and we'd recommend it. They're designed to sit together. A common combination is one Ballet Blush shade for polish and one Picnic Club or Azure Escape shade for a change of pace, rotated fortnightly. ⸻ Which mood is best for beginners? The easiest entry points are the UV-Free Spring Edit (no lamp, ten-minute application, peel and press) or Matcha Mornings (soft, forgiving neutrals that are kind to imperfect application). Either is a lovely place to start. ⸻ Do I need a UV lamp for these shades? For four of the six: yes. Ballet Blush, Matcha Mornings, Picnic Club and Azure Escape are all Semi-Cured wraps that need a UV LED lamp. The UV-Free Spring Edit needs no lamp at all, it's fully cured before it reaches you. ⸻ How long do they last? • Make Them Last

We stumbled onto this one almost by accident. A quick warm-up with a hair dryer before application, and suddenly everything sat better: a stronger hold, cleaner edges. It's such a small step that it feels like it shouldn't matter. It does, especially with UV-Free.   Why warmth makes a difference Warmth does two different jobs depending on which wraps you're wearing. For UV-Free wraps, the adhesive is what bonds the wrap to your nail. A little heat makes that adhesive tackier and more workable, similar to warming sticky tape before you use it. That means a stronger hold and fewer lifted edges later on. For Semi-Cured wraps, it's the gel itself that benefits. Heat makes the strip more pliable, so it moulds to your nail shape more easily and smooths down cleanly. The UV lamp is still what actually cures it, warmth just makes the application step easier before you get there. The finishing move We've started finishing every mani the same way now: once everything's applied, a quick, gentle warm-up over the nails, then a firm press along the edges with the Precision Tweezers. It seals everything down while the wrap (or the adhesive underneath it) is still warm and workable. It's become one of those small habits that makes a real difference to how long a set lasts. = Mid-wear fix: hair getting stuck This is the one most people don't expect. You're not applying anything, you're a week or so into wearing your set, and you notice a strip has started catching in your hair. That's a lifted edge, usually right at the tip or side. Don't pick at it or peel it off. Warm it gently with the hair dryer, then press the edge back down with the tweezers. It reseals in seconds and buys the rest of your set more wear time. Reviving strips that have gone hard This one's Semi-Cured specific. If you've opened a pack and left it sitting near a sunny window for a while, you might notice the strips have started to harden. That's the gel reacting to natural UV light, the same thing that eventually happens under your lamp, just slower and unplanned. A gentle warm from the hair dryer softens them back up enough to apply properly. It won't undo strips that have fully cured hard, but it will rescue ones that have only just started to go. How to do it without burning anything A few rules we stick to: Use a warm setting, not the hottest one. You want warmth, not heat. Hold the dryer roughly 15 to 20cm away from your nails. Keep it moving rather than holding it in one spot, so the heat doesn't concentrate anywhere. A few seconds is usually enough. If it feels too warm on your skin, it's too close or too long. That's it. No special tools, no timer, just your everyday hair dryer doing a second job. Small habit, real difference. Next time you're applying (or rescuing) a set, give it a go. For UV-Free it makes the adhesive tackier for a stronger hold, for Semi-Cured it makes the gel more pliable so it moulds and smooths more easily. ⸻ Do I still need to cure Semi-Cured wraps under a UV lamp if I heat them with a hair dryer? Yes, always. Heat only helps with application, it doesn't cure the gel. Semi-Cured wraps still need 60 seconds under your UV LED Lamp to reach full strength. ⸻ What setting should I use on my hair dryer? A warm setting, not the hottest one, held around 15 to 20cm away and kept moving. A few seconds is enough. If it feels hot on your skin, it's too close or too long. ⸻ My strip is catching in my hair a few days into wearing it. What do I do? Don't pick at it or pull it off. Gently warm the lifted edge and press it back down with the Precision Tweezers. It reseals quickly and buys the rest of your set more wear time. ⸻ My Semi-Cured strips went hard after I left them near a window. Can I still use them?
