Will the strips damage my nails while they grow?
No, that's actually the whole point. Our semi-cured gel strips protect and support your nails as they grow, rather than weakening them. Gentle oil removal means no peeling, no damage, just steady progress.
How long until I see a real difference?
Most customers notice stronger, longer nails within 3–4 weeks of consistent wear. Nails grow about 3–4mm a month on average, so the timeline varies — but the strips are working even when you can't see it yet.
My nails are really short and damaged, is this system still for me?
Especially for you. The Grow-Out System was designed for nails that need a reset. The strips act as a shield while your natural nail grows underneath, giving fragile nails the support they need to recover.
Do I need a UV lamp?
Yes, for our semi-cured gel strips you'll need a UV lamp to cure them fully. It only takes 60 seconds. If you'd prefer no lamp at all, our UV-free gel wraps are a great option, though they're better suited to short-term wear (7–10 days) rather than a full grow-out program.
How often do I replace the strips?
Every 2+ weeks. Unlike regular polish or press-ons, our semi-cured gel strips are designed for long wear, so you're not constantly redoing them — which gives your nails uninterrupted growing time.
How do I remove them without damaging my nails?
Always use cuticle oil, never peel. Soak, slide off gently, and your natural nail stays intact. We recommend a Cuticle Oil Pen in the system for exactly this reason.
Can I use the Grow-Out System if I've had acrylics or gels?
Yes. We'd just recommend giving your nails a week or two of rest after removal before starting, and being extra gentle in the first application. Our strips are much kinder to recovering nails than what you've probably been used to.
