Oh no, one day is definitely not what we'd expect. I'm so sorry, and thank you for including the photo, it really helps.
Two things that often make a big difference: give your nails a gentle buff before applying so the wrap has something to grip, and warm the wrap with a hairdryer for 5 to 10 seconds first. It makes them lovely and pliable.
